IN LOVING MEMORY OF LUCA CARRER

Our hearts are broken by the terrible news we received this week.

Luca, our beloved boot, shoe and helmet developer, and his wife Patrizia had a motorcycle accident on Sunday, that they did not survive.

Luca was more than a beloved colleague. He was a passionate engineer and production technician with a deep dedication to the search for innovation. He made a huge difference for us, finding amazing vendors, brought our MX boots with his Italian development team to a completely new level, improved the production quality of our helmets, protectors and footwear. He made big friends all over the world: our O'Neal USA team, our long-term partners Cassons in Australia, our vendors in China, Taiwan, India, Bangladesh and Vietnam are devastated and we are all in tears.

His warmth and hospitality filled every room he entered. He arrived in our company in 2016 like a comet. His energy, his passion, his love for motorcycles, his desire to improve and innovate, his stubbornness, his friendship, his loyalty, his honesty, his strong hug, his smile and his humor are irreplaceable as a professional and as an genuine friend. With Luca, you always felt welcomed. He came with a bang and he went with a bang. We cannot be grateful enough for his enormous impact on our product development and for the time we were allowed to spend together. We are desperately sad about this terrible loss.

Our hearts are broken and our thoughts are with Luca and Patrizia's children Anna and Andrea. The funeral took place on June 16th at 17:00 in Luca's hometown of Vidor in the Treviso province, Veneto, Italy at the Chiesa Parrociale di Vidor.
